we all miss this Opeth

but there's nothing we can do about it. we have to suck it up and deal with this mutant prog rock hybrid

I don't really miss this Opeth at all. I haven't suddenly lost their older albums just because they've changed style, I can still jam them whenever I want metal Opeth. Definitely don't need/want any more of this style.

Besides I like their new direction more than a lot of their metal stuff, well at least that's the case with Heritage, too early to say about PC.

I miss it, but they have such a great wealth of this style and I'm glad they changed it before it turned sour. It's not like they only did one DM prog album, so there's more than enough to sink our teeth into

Definitely more than enough. Too much in fact, I wish they'd changed direction sooner.

i actually agree with JT

obviously not about the liking their new prog stuff more than the m/ , but one of the things i love about this band is every

album (at least BWP and beyond) is pretty drastically different. ghost reveries pt. 2 wouldve been lame

I also agree that their new direction is exciting. Whether I like it or not, it's nice to see them try out something different and do whatever their musical desires leads them to
