I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like I promise haha. Idk why but there's something that annoys me about the song. The feel or something.

sounds like a song that muse would've tried to copy. drums and lyrics are kinda generic but the melody and ambience are on fuckin point

It's decent. I can see why they left it off the album, though.

20 years ago today I sat on the top deck of a bus going to college having just bought this on tape. I put it on my Walkman pressed play and was mesmerised. I had never heard anything like it and haven't since.

Timeless.

I remember hearing 'Paranoid Android' on the radio for the first time at school and was instantly obsessed with it. Those were the days I'd record songs off the radio on cassette before they were released so I could play them over and over.

I wasn't taken with this at first - having been a fan of Coldplay and hearing they were influenced by Radiohead I was interested but didn't see the similarity at all.

Eventually, Let Down clicked. The rest is history.

A lot of their albums have worn off over the years but this & Kid A are still stone cold classics.

This isn't the official 20th anniversary for this album is it though? Could it be considered that since people here obviously heard the album this day 20 years ago?

The 20 year special edition has already been released for this record, no? Thought it was a couple of months back. I have no idea of the actual release mind...

I can't remember when I first heard this but was definitely a fan when Hail to the Thief was released, so my estimate would be 2002 which would've made me 15 at the time. That makes sense.

Is that in Manchester pleb? I hear it's been moved, like a lot of things that were supposed to be on at the Arena. Understandable given the circumstances.

It's at the cricket ground, just happens to also be called Old Trafford. I wonder what the capacity is.
