100 Gecs just sucks. Like there's so many LGBTQ+ people making killer music (Cicada the Burrower, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Against Me, Left at London, Pupil Slicer, Backxwash, most stuff affiliated with Black Dresses even though it can be sensory overload for me at times, quite a few songs off the new HIRS Collective album) and people tune into that post-ironic hyperpop bullshit instead. Doesn't help that 100 Gecs remixed Melanie Martinez once.

honestly it's been a year since i got banned and i haven't made any attempts to try and get it back because if they want to create a safe space for the "go outside or draw 25" demographic of the world then i don't have any reason to wanna get back in
