Erm... OK well I can't believe I missed this, considering that brewery is based in the city I live in and I'm pretty sure they've simply re-branded one of their stock beers (which I have already tried and enjoyed). Bizarre.

I'm already musically married, sorry, but we could be just... musically-friendly? :>

Nah you're cool valek I didn't feel attacked by you or anyone
I just needed to sass back Trif and Flugmorph, albeit with love, it's just that they had breached my fragile staff writer ego and so I had no other choice but to clap back as the kids say.

They're two of my favorite bands for over a decade now and practically know their discographies by heart, and can play some of their stuff on guitar and bass. I could talk and compare their stuff endlessly even though they're very different and dont really have anything to do with each other.
Here's a link to Opeths beers: https://www.google.com/amp/s/metalinjection.net/bands-and-booze/opeth-announces-three-beers-for-november/amp

I missed the boat Talons, thanks but this won't beat the (admittedly pointless) novelty of a local brewery that I'm familiar with getting in on the act.

"Yeah Tool are more famous, but Opeth aren't that far behind. Opeth even have their own brand of ale or something."
I wasn't thinking about whether tool were more famous, that's a fact. I was saying that Opeth are very unkown (or completely unknown) outside de metal scene. I guess in northern Europe the vision is different.

It might be true that this and new Tool are very close for me, although this is 4.0+ and Tool 4-, but Heritage and Watershed are so much better than Fear Inoculum to me.
Glad you like ABBA anyway!

I'm in the states and am surprised by how many random people have heard of Opeth, tho they are people who are into different kinds of music including some prog. I think starting with Heritage they were able to get more exposure cause there was no more death metal.

Yeah the same happened in The Netherlands. Lots of prog daddies here, Floyd etc were incredibly huge and mainstream here, and all those oldies adore prog phase Opeth. Interviews in the biggest newspapers, headline shows at the biggest festivals... It has done them some good for sure.

I love you too man and I get liking Opeth more. I do love Heritage and Watershed almost as much as Fear Inoculum.
