Last night I had a dream that there was a new Paramore album released alongside Hayley's and it was fantastic. Kinda went in a more synth pop sound, sort of like the Dua Lipa album. Sometimes I hate dreams haha.

They already said they were thinking about going back to a more rock sound because they "miss the guitar" and Williams mentioned in the same topic that they all love Songs for the Deaf by QOTSA which makes the happiest fucker in existence rn
I will never comprehend the rabid love for this album. It's good, but fuck me if Paramore make another album like this. I don't think they will anyway, they've always changed things up nicely

Man I wish I could 5 this, or at least rate it higher. I love the sound of this album, but there's a lot of little things about it that bother me. Mostly I just wish it was put together a little more neatly. It's front-loaded, and doesn't really progress in a way that feels satisfying to me. There isn't really any kind of climax to it, and the closer's pretty meh. It's just too short, and not in a good way. I still love it, but not as much as I'd like to.
