I haven't been antagonistic to anyone in here tbh sounds like you're just venting about unrelated events in an inappropriate and irrelevant time and place and being antagonistic yourself. but if it really makes you feel like a winner to go over it (when clearly you're just being insecure) I really can't help that our crossover when it comes to ~the mainstreams acclaim~ is stuff that I unfortunately do not like. your little perspective does not however speak for the multitude of examples of stuff that falls into the sites highest regard of mainstream acclaim that I have very highly rated. Furhtermore, I'm not here to entertain you I'm here to entertain myself, so be that as it may that I'm self aware of my often antagonistic discourse, you (a user I find to be quite a overwhelmingly shitty sport about literally everything the large majority of the time) being upset about it quite frankly isn't going to altar my course.

you know what you're being rather respectful so I'll return the favour, yes i do do that, as do many of us around here, and for the most part its just for shits and giggles and I easily separate users whom I admire by whether or not they can take a razzing on their music taste or not. I respect people that can take the common shit disturber discourse in stride and those are the people whose opinions on music, or myself, or anything else really I take seriously. and those people would all confirm I also like to have constructive dialogue and it's really not as hard as you'd think to engage me in it. but you've been on this site nearly as long as I have and basically your contribution as far as I've seen when it comes to our interactions is just coming online once a month to actively try to knock me down a peg, which just comes off personally adversarial, so you've never really given me any reason to respect your opinion of me at any given point.

so i'm sorry that in the places we happen to cross paths here you don't get to see that but your approach doesn't generally encourage me to be hospitable to you. which i understand because I can bring out the same kind of response in other users but any time someone politely engages me i politely engage them back, and any time someone adversarially engages me I adversarially engage them back.

in conclusion to my novella validating my behaviour, I'm a very reactive person and thats pretty much all there is to it

sorry if i came off as having some kind of personal vendetta it's not the case, maybe like four years ago when i had my own antagonistic phase; and yeah i've seen you have plenty of great discussions, that's why i find redundant putdowns and negative attitude off-putting if it's turning up a lot in the threads i'm reading on here (not singling you out, a lot of the users who do this are pretty ubiquitous on the site and a lot more unifaceted). i'll try and engage you politely about something sometime : )

I would gladly do the same, I don't have the drive for genuine long-standing sput-beef anymore, its just irritating. I still fuck around but the list of users I feel actively still hate my guts and have a personal vandetta against me is quite slimmed down compared to what it used to be and I'd be perfectly fine with it being non-existent. I like to push peoples buttons and razz the shit out of them but it comes from a place of me genuinely enjoying this community (clearly as i've been here so long). I don't enjoy having an actual bone to pick with people on here.

I know I "joke too hard" sometimes and it gets people riled up and things escalate from harmless to harmful quickly because I am, like I said, a reactive person, particularly in peoples responses to me, but I also am easy to participate in diffusing those situations as long as its reciprocal

At the end of the day we are all here just to have fun : ]
