Ballou actually mixes the drums well which has been one of my biggest criticisms with ETID production of albums. They are either too low in the mix or lack that oomph

I do think they sound better than on this album, but overall I think they go heavier with Kurt, and I like heavy ETID better than this.

I think Putney's production on this is the best they've ever sounded by a long shot.



I love Ballou's production for most bands (Converge, Torche, Sumac) but ETID run through that filter just doesn't totally click with me
