this is nowhere close to war of being or even one but it is good
biggest problem is just the absurd degree to which side a bodies side b lmao this album drops off really egregiously after track 5

War of Being is the peak for me at the moment, I still need to listen to One. Altered State occupies a different area of my taste though. Still goes hard, even if the second half drops off a bit

Survival gives me Thirty Seconds to Mars vibes lol, all it needs is some "Woooaaahhhhh"s in the chorus

"yeah that song is cool. that and dystopia are the only bright spots for me. falls off a cliff after"
Tourniquet gets me in the feels. Also amazing, and might have my favorite Amos riff at the end.

I remember being absolutely obsessed with One when it was released, more or less at the peak of the djent frenzy. By the time this album was released, I'd already been burnt out on the style, and was underwhelmed. Maybe gave this a spin or two and went over a decade without listening to it.
Gave it another shot a few weeks ago, and it's been in near constant rotation whenever I've had the time.
They need to do another vinyl pressing.
