This has grown on me considerably over time, but the one-two punch of Infinite Dreams and Can I Play With Madness is still the hurdle I can't quite clear yet. They're just not that enjoyable to me, which sucks since they're back-to-back on the album

You know a band is great when even the collective majority on Sput is having a hard time agreeing on what their best album is

I think this is how my 80s Maiden ranking would go these days (from best to worst):

Powerslave

Somewhere in Time

The Number of the Beast

Piece of Mind

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Killers

Iron Maiden

But considering I have the s/t at a 4, it's not like "worst" really means much here

It’s cheesy and epic in a way that only Maiden can pull off

The bridge in Moonchild is probably the one of the best things Maiden have ever done

This is the only Iron Maiden where I cannot genuinely name a favourite track off it. Every single track on the album are beyond stellar.

Infinite Dreams has been growing on me a lot since my original comment above. That fast chuggin' section in the middle kicks some serious ass

They're certainly getting up there in years :[

Then again, Rob Halford's past 70 and still doing the same insane wails he did in his prime... I suppose some artists age better than others, lol
