This actually might end up being my least favorite Death album eventually. I was listening to their entire discog again recently, and this one just doesn't hold up as well for me anymore. The production sounds really sterile, Steve DiGiorgio needs to have more presence, the refrains are redundant and don't really add much to each song, and I wish there was a bit more atmosphere like in Death'a final three albums

Symbolic is pretty close to fav Death for Zero Tolerance and Empty Words alone. But I still prefer Human just slightly.

Death's discog is ranked perfectly if just placed chronologically.
