They basically changed their songwriting scheme entirely to accomodate the singer. It's NEVER a good idea to compromise your songwriting in favor of the singer, it's the singer that should conform to the writers' vision of the music

Last song was better than Phoenix or subject zero. It's a different veil but I didn't mind it. The cleans helped me ignore his generic screams and there were some interesting guitar parts.

i liked it a lot, rest of their stuff doesnt fare as well in terms of structure. its dumbed down for sure, but its far more melodic than anything theyve made before...also i prefer the new vocalist over brandon.
