With most albums I find that it takes a while to really win me over with a few exceptions. I always hated the vocals a few years ago when I heard them but I heard his guest vocals on MDAM's record and didn't think it was bad anymore. But thanks for being a cock smooch anyway!

Nah. Instrumentation represents the tone rather well. Accurately matches the atmosphere that the lyrics attempt to convey. That's all personal opinion, but I feel the instrumentation alone surpasses the rating of a 3.
