Would be 48th place on the end of year sput staff list if we lived in ‘67

sput in '67 wouldn't have heard enough records collectively to make a top 50, but magic that into a top 10 and Sgt Peppers would probably be 9 (one place above Red Krayola)

TVU and Leonard Cohen would be in the lower part of the top 5, and we'd spoil any clout we might have coattailed them for by putting Jefferson Airplane at 1

Red Crayola wouldn't be on the list. Nor would banana. It would contain both the American and UK versions of Are you experienced. And people would phone in for weeks to complain about which version deserves better

hmm not sure I follow Colton's logic here... had it not?

anyway the whole absurdity of the discussion is bizarre to me, surely if we were Sputtin in '67 this means the internet existed, no?... and therefore the collective absolutely would have heard enough records to make a legitimate top 50

can we really do the theoretical of Sput + no internet because I think my 3 brain cells just exploded

ok I kinda like the idea of guessing what our AOTYs would have been decades ago. I fuck with this practice.

This, Piper and Doors.

I wonder who among us would do illustrations and what kind of psychedelic aesthetic they would employ.

What if I die tomorrow? My current age would not be the midpoint of my lifetime, therefore I cannot be classified as middle-aged.

'Anyone under the age of 20 listening to the Beatles? '

Is this rhetoric?
