This is the last classic album by Modest Mouse, but their records afterwards are still good without the comparison. I still enjoy listening to anything they've made. It's not up to the same level, but they still have chops.



I saw Modest Mouse live for this record at the Black Cat back in 2000, they played a great set, fun times.

Modest Mouse is really great at crafting a very subtle sort of emotional ambiance in each album they make.
