lou reed's feature on this is definitely thoroughly awful

Lou Reed is the black sheep of rock in the last 40 years.

half the tracks on the bonus are better than some tracks that ended up on the final cut, but the other half is like 'ok, this is more like a bonus ft., really'

What the fuck is Sex Murder Party? Probably the worst thing Damon has ever done, honestly. Surely that could have been a bonus track.

Only really good songs on this is "Saturn Barz" and "Hallelujah Money". This album could have been so good....

Coincidentally, what wwf said below you. Andromeda and the song after (Busted and Blue)

Andromeda is definitely the best on here, which is what I expected after the four singles. Busted and Blue is great. Hallelujah Money was better in context as well. Halfway to the Halfway House and Ticker Tape were pretty cool, if underdeveloped.
The rest is mostly just sort of perplexing, honestly.

man I love Danny Brown but he brings the song he's on down so hard (kelela's part is fantastic)
and the de la soul song on this album is even worse than superfast jellyfish
the guitar sample on charger makes the song unlistenable
carnival has the worst ending ever
sex murder party and we got the power are also hard skips
andromeda, ascension, saturnz bars, she's my collar, busted and blue and carnival and submission (despite what I said earlier) are all great songs that in a different context would justify a hard 4

I thought I was meant to be the miserable bastard around here. Take it for what it is, throwaway pop fluff that's actually crafted with invention, soul and depth. I bloody love we got the power.

'rafted with invention, soul and depth.'
THIS.
HARD.
I'd say that except the Danny Brown part and Carnival there isn't one track off 'humanz' that i don't like. Halellujah money, charger and sex murder party are all 3 hard growers and I totally get if peeps don't dig.

I will say that I really enjoyed Charger and We Got The Power. I guess I just don't see much 'soul and depth' in certain tracks, and it seems that the chief complaint from most people has been that the record feels rushed or otherwise unfinished. Sex Murder Party definitely has the feel of a format that's been colored in (trip beat, damon chorus, feature verse, damon chorus, feature verse, damon chorus). By the time Damon comes in for a third time, it just feels so tired. Maybe that one is a grower as you say, though.

We got the power is probably the worst song albarn has ever made
