I've owned this album for over 10 years and had no idea there was a bonus track with Dead Souls

And by that I also mean I've never even heard that song. Listening to it now and it totally sucks. I am extremely grateful it wasn't included on this album

Never heard the Cure version either, but this NIN version sucks massive amounts of dicks. Like 1/5 level of dicks

I do apologise having had a few pints but would there be anyone out there willing to join a band who had the following primciples.

1. Raw.

2. Real.

3. Passionate.

4. Wiiling to annihilate.

5. Don't give two fucks.

Whose with me?

I didn't like this album until today. I never got what's so appealing about it, I actually used to think it was overdepressing (if that's even a word), and overall just too noisy. Today I was so depressed because of personal issues and I gave this one more spin. I cried my heart out like I never did before and I went to a music store solely to buy this fucking record. It is heart-wrenching, no other album did what The Downward Spiral did to me emotionally. This might sound cheesy, crappy and exaggerated, but this is more than just music. I finally what is appealing about this album: everything, but in such an unappealing way, and that's what makes it so perfect.

I can't even imagine how many albums people miss out on because they aren't sad or how many albums I've missed out on cause I'm not happy enough for them

@Musicalmedicine, wow, that's some deep shit. But you're completely right, that's why this album is fucking awesome. @Xing No use thinking about it; we are the way we are, or something motivational like that.
