Man, the guitar tones on this album are awesome, even if the guitar doesn't really get to shine as much.



fun. are incredible songwriters, there's no denying that, but as far as sonic experimentation goes, I can do without Some Night's silly autotune tricks and big sounding kick drums.

I had a listen to Aim & Ignite today, side by side with Some Nights just as a homage to the new album coming out.
Honestly Aim & ignite is better in every way. I'm admittedly a little upset that, while I do like the new sound; I will surely miss all the playfulness and heaps of instruments on Aim & Ignite. That's my conclusion.
I still thought Some Nights was great though.

He only compares to himself in modern pop really. =P
