holy fuck those first few pages are just... horrible

ok I've actually listened to this now and yeah it's not great. A few interesting guitar lines here and there but overall very boring and most of the songs don't really sound that different

New Hulud is best Hulud. Close, but especially after Misanthropy Pure being just okay.

Don't know how long you've been away for, but it's mostly new Shai, and I've gone back to listening to Solace (CAN), Karl of Mis Sig's solo thing. It wears on towards the end, but starts off very m/. I wouldn't really bother with any of it after Dead Man's Curve. All of Shai is predictably junz, but That Within Blood Ill-Tempered and the reissue of A Proufound Hatred of Man are probably their best aside from the new one.
