lol, more quotes from other ITP reviews (by me, ofc):

This album bass is FAPtastic : )

IDK what do you guys smoke to think Symbolic is better than this.

Its better.

Better drums.

Better bass (DUH!)

Less wankery and more music, direct to the point, technical but not excesive.

Better lyrics, less symbolical (!) and more to the point.

Better second guitar player with better execution and soloing.

The 2011 remaster just made things even better.

POS. Underrated album among the final four, IMO this is without a doubt the BEST Death album. It has

the RIGHT amounts of technicality, melody and some of (if not) the BEST lyrics of all Death albums.

Listen to the remaster, btw, is miles ahead of the original.

IM FUCKING PROUD OF THIS ONE

Oh, and agression. ITP also has that RIGHT touch of aggresion, that IMO is lacking in Symbolic.

Digiorgio bass is far more robust than in Human, Larocque leads, whilst not as agressive as Masvidal

are really damm good and fitting for the album and lastly but not less..

Gene Hoglan. Yes, Reinhart and (maybe?) Christy have far more presence on their records, but Hoglan

double bass (or triplets as he calls them) are AMAZING on this record, IMO far above his work on

Symbolic. And lets not mention Chuck´s amazing vocal tone or lyrics that make 90% of today metal cry

in shame. YES Darksideof Lucca, no one stands a fucking chance.

The fact that you can hear all the layers of this album (guitars, bass, drums, vocals) on a level

that you are ALWAYS discovering something (i find myself humming the bass on the SOLO´s sometimes!)

really make this album an otherworld experience.

Yes, im in fucking love with this album. Yes it fucking rules. If someone has a gripe with the

production (the only flaw of this masterpiece) just get the 2012 version. You wont go dissapointed.

R.I.P Chuck.

yeah, but you gotta admit that second post / quote was made from the heart.

If Sputnik gave me ONE album to 6/5, fo`sho it would be ITP. Sometimes Rust in Peace, Mental Vortex and Dimension:Hatross want to get on the way, but ITP i without doubt my favorite album EVER.

R.I.P Chuck

@YoYo: Disagree about the drumming. Human has the best drumming on any Death album.

i have to say i agree with geadom that this album practically forces you to finish it once you start the first track, similar to the effect of altars of madness
