Yeah, but it still doesn't sound like FNM.

I don't see that. Angel Dust was drastically different from The Real Thing and yet it sounds like FNM. Same with KFAD and this. As long as Patton's still there, it's still FNM.

Nah, cause Introduce Yourself sounds like FNM and Patton was nowhere in sight for that.

^^^^ SO BADASS!!

@Butkiss: You nailed it bro, KFAD is a wonderful album that I really enjoy, but it sounds like FNM covering different genres and there's no Roddy except for "Evidence" and "Cuckoo For Caca", and there's no Billy except for the T/T and the aforementioned "Cuckoo".

Angel Dust is the pinnacle of Faith No More, and the pinnacle of rock/metal/alternative music (period)

For me this is an all time great and rightly so it just fails to reach classic status for some reason. It just seems like an almighty fuck about I suppose.

King For a Day is what got me into Faith No More. There for it will always be my #1.

Mike Pattons vocals are so prominent on this record. This album made me understand Patton can sing anything and sing it above average.

Evidence

Digging the Grave

Ugly in the Morning

Take this Bottle

What A Day

Just a Man (When the choir kicks in! AMAZING! Goosebumps all day!)

What about the orchestral parts in Malpractice or Jizzlobber?

also, as radical as Just A Man is, Midnight Cowboy is no farce as a closer either.

KFAD kills AOTY,

sorry but its just the truth, they were lucky to even get that batch of songs written with all the infighting. The discord is palpable in the lack of identity in the songs rather than the strength of the performances.

I expect most to disagree. But I think AOTY is really underrated. Some of Patton's finest vocal work is on that album, for sho

the finest in his entire catalogue or just FNM?

either way, I'd be surprised if you could point out something on that album thats up to par of any of his other work. Aside from Mouth To Mouth and Stripsearch, there this is Patton-lite.
