Holy shit you weren't joking

the only thing you've heard of those was Nick Cave's most recent.

Hey man you'll probably still prefer Ok Computer but check out all those acts, they're amazing and I think you'll like them a lot :D

They're all on my "to check" list (except for AiC I guess), I'll get to 'em some day.

Yeah AiC's appeal to people who don't like radio rock or grunge is very limited, I personally see them as more than that but they're probably the least important to get to.

I mean I'm not opposed to listening to them I'm just not actively interested in getting into them like I am with the others you listed.

Yeah. Don't forget the classics Boney. Remain in Light and VU's first two albums are better than anything Radiohead has done tbhh

I know there's a lot of classics in a lot of genres that I haven't gotten to yet, I prefer not to rush myself though and country/alt-country/folk/whatever just happens to be the genre that I find myself most drawn to these days so I'm listening to more of the classics in those genres instead of a lot of the big rock albums.

That said I did just check a "classic" rock album the other day so it's not like I'm neglecting that stuff entirely.

Boney it's not that you shouldn't take your time

It's that you called a Radiohead album the best rock album without checking out those albums

1) I said that mostly to trigger people

2) There is no definitive "best" of course so one can only judge from what one knows and considers their favorites

3) In the grand scheme I know more rock albums than you, you just happen to know more of the "classic" or "obvious" stuff, how do you know that the rock albums I've heard aren't better than what you've heard?

"how do you know that the rock albums I've heard aren't better than what you've heard?"

I don't. That's why i'm not saying that mine are better than yours...like you did...

I don't know how that's "reaching" and further I don't even see how reaching could possibly apply in that context :?

When the defense squad shows up for no reason other than to protect good ol' boney
