last track sounds like swimming in an ocean of drugs

alora is ambient/experimental with a fuckton of instruments and strings. it's a toby driver project. kind of like a more chambery tim hecker

I honestly don’t understand the hyperbolic praise for this. I’m stoked for everyone head over heels about this record, but nothing screams “this is something special” to me at all. The Frail Body album had a raw, guttural feeling compared to this, which is something modern skramz has lacked for me. I’m going to set aside some time to dive back into this next week, but the sput-hype-train seems way too real on this one

sounds like the shit, thanks for the heads-up. Seems like it's not actually out till the end of the month (officially), but will check eventually

artificial bouquet is completely different than this album, it's far more hardcore/grind based and the production is raw
