i guess time escaping is kinda just two things, but the crazy percussion might make it hard to notice. “Sparrow” if that’s what you’re referring to is an easy lowlight for me all told, but I think has more going on chords wise than is immediately obvious. Not sure tho lol

"I dunno, rare that a band goes “two chords mode” and I’m like “this is better than that other stuff”. Maybe sometimes"
pj harvey bby
but that doesn't count bc it is literally 95% of her stuff

you mean the one that's built on a distinct chord progression that plays within the first 3 seconds of the song

you should build a bot to make you new accts. using 10minutemail over and over is probably getting rather taxing

the whole process takes about 20-25 seconds

do you really need someone to spell out the difference between being a one chord song and literally containing one chord

Colton12

if you can play a song with nothing but a f# major it is a one chord song
if you can play a song with your hand on f# major 90% of the time and no other chords played for half a bar straight it is still a one chord song

To be fair I thought from first listen, “I wouldn’t want to do sheet music/transcription here”…

probably 85-90. have jammed to that one by ear a few times, is v economical just a pain to catch the timing

you are hearing that one guitar strumming that doesn't change and thinking it's a one chord song even though it's actually built on a clear melody derived from multiple chords that is conveyed with both the guitar and vocals and the way that it harmonizes with the other guitar part is a key part of the arrangement and it would not sound remotely the same with either element removed
