Dude is a monster of a vocalist. I remember The Anti Mother rightfully getting a lot of shit because Cory couldn't sing back then. That album was a sacrifice worth making. NJ's sung sections are great now. The Anti Mother walked so Meridional and everything that follows could run.

Interesting how their later albums seem to be more highly regarded than the first half of their discog. That’s pretty interesting. Opposite of the typical band.

You can’t take Sput ratings on this band seriously. Their earlier albums were shit on cause metalcore and lame. Then once people came around they’re appreciated

Quickly becoming one of my favorite NJ records. This, Redeemer and Bless the Martyr are prob my top 3, but I’d still like to give Meridional, Polar Similar and even O God a few more times before a definitive ranking. And I have yet to listen to Deathrattle but that’s next, of course.
