man this album is still pretty goated with the sauce. shame they fired the mvp because they were too lazy to push themselves
and thats not even a dig at the new album as much as it is a dig at the recording process of this because they apparently constantly bitched with the producer about how much time was spent to get this right. they apparently would even refuse to retrack and overdub stuff to the point where sam did a lot of the harmonies himself. smfh parker

If that’s true why did the next album take twice as long? And yeah this is way better than the new one, on the new one it feels like they failed to reintroduce speed while retaining the songwriting improvements from this album.
