Miasma is srs a top 5 Ghost track for me. The first time I ever heard it was seeing it live for the tour for this record and it was BEFORE the album dropped. I was just blown the fuck away. Legitimately something I will never forget.

Witch Image is great but I feel like they missed an opportunity with the backing vocals that come in on the second chorus and never get used again, I feel that should have been there every time and it kind of makes the other choruses in the song not hit as hard for me. I like Faith and See the Light more, the bridge in see the light is one of the best moments on this.

I challenge anyone that doesn’t like dance macabre to see it live and not have the dumbest grin on your face. It’s a fine song on its own but yeah that shit is fun as hell
Idk there’s also the kind of guys (me included) that just like their harder hitting shit more, which I understand. Don’t get it twisted songs like Cirice or Absolution are 100% better, but that just goes for every band that has some poppy single explode. It’s fun let people have fun lol

I love this album, it has it all: catchy choruses, grooves, diversity and a nice flow. It's my sweet spot in their discography.
Older albums are growing on me too. I appreciate Meliora quite bit more now.
The new one though ... I'll give it some time.

meliora is great too but prequelle eclipses it imo, but it does feel quite different so def still worthwhile
impera has great moments but uneven on a whole
new one is consistent but more one-dimensional and i'd argue a bit dull
infestiwhatever sucks
opus eponymous just isn't my thing but i get what it's going for
