Wish it went on for longer though :/

Yea same here Pleb, but it’s brilliant nonetheless. The rest of the song completely saves it from the abrupt ending.

Lost In Moments still destroys me every time though, best opener ever.

Garm's vox on this are just swoon worthy as hell < 3

i think ive said the same thing before here, but anyway: i love the abrupt ending for how it leads into the soft piano of porn piece. those first two tracks are married beautifully, i cant imagine how many times ive listened to this record over the years and the chills never stop coming

First track is a 4,5 on its own, wish more bands could make music like this - dramatic, jazzy. It could be the soundtrack of a neo-noir film.

I believe that's meant to be the case. I think that all the time when listening to this.

Especially future-noir like Blade Runner or Brazil. Those looking for more music like this should definitely hear the Blade Runner soundtrack if they haven't, and Dead Cities by The Future Sound of London too. Agreed that the outro of Tomorrow Never Knows is amazing.

Yeah it's a band highlight for sure. Reminds me of the melodic sections of their Teachings in Silence EPs

ulver has that effect on us, huh? it's the piano intro to porn piece that takes me back to 2007 or so, right in the same mood and everything. hugely personal track for me

Jamming this driving at night on a freeway is an experience to say the least. Same with Coffins on Io by Kayo Dot.
