Ya this is my favorite, which I never thought would be the case being a diehard exoplanet fan in high school lol

Exoplanet is ok but was certainly not perfect. They could have refined their songwriting in a subsequent album, but alas we dont live in that timeline.

Yea I mean honestly I don't even return to Exoplanet much at all anymore, basically throw on Flourish and Oscillator and call it there. Then with this album I always jam the whole thing

Easily my favorite and one of the best prog metal albums of the 2010s. All their others are good too.

The very laid back production also really helps. Sounds really smooth for a metal record.

Seeing this performed live on tour was amazing. This album, in studio, is beautiful sounding but sometimes a little low energy. On tour they made so many tiny moment bigger, heavier, spacier. It was awesome.

Yeah this album sounded flawless when played it in Cleveland. I can tell they're much more into this shit than they are into Exoplanet lol

For sure. Michael's voice is just way better suited to Language. He sounded gassed about halfway through Exoplanet.

He just can't hit those screams. He was shout-yelling the whole time.
