Yeah sometimes I feel like I'm beating a dead horse, but honestly it is (thus far) infinitely rewarding. I just fall in love with different parts of it over and over again.

Putting this on after something nice and bassy from the early 2000's is hilarious. This mix hits you with all the treble. there ain't no bass here.

To think that originally it was meant to be even rougher haha. The bass playing is sweet though at least.

I've kinda been saving them, as I assume I'm going to dig it.

But I won't lie - the way some people speak about them kinda scares me. My world will come crashing down around me if I was to discover something I like more than this album.

OK so I've listened to this twice now, and I can safely say that my Queensryche infatuation is safe. Which is not to say that Perfect Symmetry isn't rad, because it is.

can you believe Geoff Tate wrote this story and sung these songs? He seems to be a completely different person now. It's like he went from a thoughtful person to this complete douchebag. Now hes riding motorcycles, trying to act tough, what the hell.

Well it was 32 years ago fwiw.

The fame from Empire destroyed the band in one way or another, it seems to me.
