This is my definition of a nostalgia album, had I heard it certainly I'd probably hate it because the lyrics are completely ridiculous sometimes and it sounds way too close to Nu-metal but it will forever remain in my "important albums" memory now!!!!

Township Rebellion still rocks hard tho

that's silly... yeah they're over the top sometimes but no reason to hate. wouldn't call them ridiculous for the most part. Overall I find Zach's lyrics to be pretty inspiring, even if I don't always agree with his words he's got a unique flow and some interesting perspective.

plus the music man, how could you hate something that jams this hard

This was like the dawn the nu-metal actually, lots and lots and lots of Nu-metal bands claim this as an influence, there's of course the rapping and djing that a lot of nm bands did and such and such

Neo classical.

Nu metal had things to offer though. I don't care how many people hate me for saying so.

it did, it just got corrupt by money grubbing whores

lotsa excellent bands have roots or were in some way affiliated with the movement: Deftones, Tool, Mudvayne, RATM, hell even RHCP and Primus to an extent. then Limp Bizkit had to come along and completely botch any integrity the genre had.

He just has such an awfully small view of the world, there is true in a lot of what he says but he tends to either simplify it and make it look like clear black and white which is just not how it works, almost anywhere, and often gets too hung up on resolving with violent ways. Not to mention, he says all of this with the band being signed to Epic records, a big company, ie "The machine"

Still, the guy has energy and some of his punchlines work really well, and yea the music jams, super catchy shit

agreed, especially about the black and white part.

I said this a couple pages ago, but I think it's dumb to be so critical on Zac's lyrics because they're about revolution when other singers sing about things that can ONLY have negative connotation and people sing along like it's no thing.

yeah Gwyn thats actually a solid argument, sometimes things get a little "lol preachy" but the target

audience was a bunch of angsty teens who had the same simple-minded thoughts anyways so I think it

works
