Howard can be a better singer, but this is still my favorite vocal performance on any Killswitch album

God I can't get over how bad the lyrics are on the two new songs.

I've never liked Howard's singing ever. Screams are ok, though.

The vocals on this are a clear highlight but Jesse just isn't as intense as he was here any more

Probably because he blew his vox out completely recording this.

"Life to Lifeless" brings back memories of playing Evolution Snowboarding.

It was a nice change of pace from all the pop punk clean vocals in most of this genre

I liked Howard's vocals - just never thought his songwriting or lyrical ability was very good.

Still their best album, this is right up there as the pinnacle of metalcore.

I always enjoyed Howie's "opera" esque vocals tbh

Yeah I love their singles with Howard. That one, Arms Of Sorrow, End of Heartache, etc

Post-BHBS Howard is just Efrem Schulz but more operatic and less character

I didn't like Jesse's scream in these first 2 albums, it improved here over the debut but not enough. His other harsh vocals were great and so was the singing. In disarm and incarnate he did less "screaming" and had a fierce undertone to his harsh vocals which I really liked
