Transylvania is still worth a spin sometimes and Analog too I guess but after a week or two you realize that this isn't an enjoyable album so much as a kid playing around with music

I still find it enjoyable. Analog is such a good jam.

Still haven't gotten this simply for the fact that I feel like it'll be a major disappointment compared to Bastard.

Ehhh, it's not THAT bad imo. There's some really strong tracks on here, but also a bunch that are just meh/terribly average in comparison. You gotta listen for yourself, though.
