yeah pretty much peak nu metal. I can't say that I am an expert of that genre, but Iowa are way above every other Nu metal I know...

A true classic album, and agreed one of the few from around 2000 that was great. Iowa, Flaw’s Through the Eyes, and Godsmack’s Awake are the only albums from that era I still genuinely like. Ironic because I hate Godsmack and think they’re cringe, but somehow they peaked at 1 great record.

L.D. 50 gets credit for getting experimental with it, but it makes for a more nuanced listen than just being able to put on an album that's just balls-to-the-wall nu metal. Sometimes it's better to just tickle the lizard brain rather than engage it in conversation. This album tickles the fuck outta my lizard brain. Respect.
