Y'all see Rick Beato's interview with Flea? I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised hearing Flea speak. Fucked up history aside, the dude seems to have a true passion for music that started from the very beginning. Seeing his warmup exercises segue into some of his classic bass lines was fun to watch.
He also attempted to describe Kiedis's process of writing lyrics and it seemed to boil down to: Kiedis listens to our instrumentals and makes up words he thinks goes with the music. No attachment to meaning or symbolism, just words really.
