well yea rpgs are getting less complex by the year, however i feel that the "DAGGERFALL IS SO MUCH MORE COMPLEX THAN OBLIVION OR SKYRIM" argument is ridiculous because rpgs that old school are mainly numbers games. even though oblivion and skyrim are definitely dumbed down in terms of difficulty and character complexity, skyrim especially makes good on the few good things modern rpgs have done right, like detailed, organic worlds and tons of content
im not gonna say my experience with daggerfall wasnt fun, and i will still stand by morrowind as the best elder scrolls game, but drop the elite pc gamer act that you discovered on the internet prolly a year ago, one game isnt more deep simply because the crater faced old school rpg nerds tell you they are
and dont you dare tell me its your actual opinion that isnt anyway clouded by what the so called elite gamers adhere to
