Theres nothing unearned with Neurosis. Its about pain. Suffering. Destruction. Theres no cheap fast metal riffs for fat dudes to shout 'fucking slllayer' too.You seem hung up on the fact theyre not fast. Theres a common theme. Loss. Anger. They build the most beautiful atmospheres that make your fucking soul hurt,Yearn, on top of the most impossibly perfect guitar sound. There is no 'I want this more of ....' with Neurosis. You either get it or you dont. It either speaks to you or it doesnt. Its soul music.

For real though youve got nothing even remotely sludge.post metal,heavy, slow apart from maybe Isis at near the top of your ratings so its not really a surprise.
