Then the whole 'chaotic music represents confusion' thing doesn't appeal to you. Which is also understandable.

Although I honestly can't see this as unfocused, it depends on deliberate changes in style and tempo too much to seem unfocused to me.

Also grind =/= metal

Ahhh I see what you mean. I guess I'm more of a slow build kinda guy. I need something to look forward to rather than instant gratification.

I think this album builds quite nicely. It's climaxes are just harder to spot, because the climaxes are often the quietest, or most coherent parts, rather than the most chaotic or 'heavy'. That's why it ends on it's two cleanest, melodic parts.

Please explain this to me. My taste in music doesn't have to conform to my fellow Sputnikers and it certainly shouldn't brand me as being "ignorant with my opinion". Like yourself, I don't understand this album and I probably never will. I think its poor in its song structures and the vocals are atrocious. Wait a minute....I guess that makes me ignorant with my opinion DURRRR!

Sorry I probably sounded quite elitist there. I meant how people with that rating most likely haven't listened to the album enough (ie understanding the song structures), and if they have a 2 is unfair considering the damn great aspects of this album (at least musically...I personally can't see the emotional ones...), like Notintheface, Avirov and the review say.

it shocks me, that this album isn't consistently in the most popular section.

The formula the Most Popular section uses probably rates review comments very low in the equation.
