This album is great, but I was kind of disappointed. I was expecting to have my mind blown, but it wasn't. Few bands will ever write a song the caliber of Teen Age Riot or Eric's Trip, but other songs like Silver Rocket started out good then reduced to stupid noise.

the noise solos are an acquired taste for sure, but if you can learn to like them, they're pretty cool. I love the shit out of this album( a possible 5) and realize how brilliant Sonic Youth are and shall be picking up Sister and EVOL soon.

This is HANDS DOWN the greatest Indie/ Alternative album I have heard. Every song is perfect in every way, and how could The Sprawl or Cross The Breeze not get a 5?!? Those (and Teenage Riot) are my favorite on the album! =[
