I just picked up the EP they released for their single Holy Tears. Its got a video for the song, kind of in the vein of Tool with the trippy imagery.

heard "dulcinea" back when this first came out, and only now have i gotten around to buying the album (along with oceanic and panopticon, within days of each other!).
i'm loving this atm. to be fair, i like all three, not sure in what order yet though. a few more listens should reveal...

Tool is far Superior to this IMO but this is amazing as well however I think we are talking about 2 completely different genres and styles. they compare because they compliment each other pretty good but they are apples and oranges.

i feel as if the overall sound was turned down on this compared to panopticon

I was definitely really disappointed when I first heard this... seeing as how panopticon is my all time fav album and i was prolly just hoping for a round2...
it really did grow on me tho, still dont think it touches panopticon but its damn good none-the-less...
if they can take the drumming and vocals of this cd and combine them with the guitars, bass and ambience in "panopticon" their new cd will kill.. bill
