Anthrax riffs are among the easiest to play on guitar. Especially some like "I Am The Law" and "Caught In A Mosh".

either way, good on ya mate.
NFL is another one that seems simple but is just stupid to try and do with all downstrokes on guitar.

Finger style. I'm really fast at fingerpicking; I'm better at it than using a pick

I played Return to Forever's "Spain" for my jazz band class on bass without a pick, and it was seriously hell on the fingers

I'll post a vid once I get my bass fixed. I have some pretty weird playing traits, but I think it's because I didn't get many formal lessons

yeah I'm kinda the same way with guitar. Had 10 lessons when I was 12 or 13 but I've been playing ever since, so like 16 years?

Nice, man. I think it's the same reason that someone like Chuck Schuldiner had such a distinctive
style, because he didn't get lessons as a kid but turned to his musical influences. My singing is
kinda that way; I've never gotten lessons, so my style may not be considered all that formal or
"proper," but I've been singing since I was in freshman year of highschool and I've participated in
numerous projects

When it comes to metal, I have a lot of traditional classic metal vocalists like Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford as influences, as well as thrash singers like Joey Belladonna. Outside of metal, I'm mainly influenced by artists such as Billy Joel, Bjork, Freddie Mercury, Jeff Buckley, Dusty Springfield, Stevie Nicks, Prince, Micheal Jackson, The Tallest Man on Earth, Steve Perry, Al Green, and others. I have a lot of folk, soul, and classic rock influences

@Inbred: That's actually pretty funny because I don't use mine either; I see it as a hindrance since it's obviously the weakest finger.

I love how Anthrax don't take themselves too seriously. This is my favorite thrash album of all time strangely. The vox are the best (they don't sound like cookie monster).
