i think cove is a worthy replacement for anthony green. however the songwriting is just repetitive and boring. This seems like an attempt to target the mainstream. I like the drumming, the guitars are nice and lively, nothing special about the bass, the vocals are good, the lyrics could have been written by preteen girls. It is average - nothing more nothing less.

This is becoming a guilty pleasure of mine.

This is a fantastic album, I always love coming back to it.
I think Finding Home or You're Not Alone are my favourites.

soooooooooooooooo average ,its pretty much the same song on repeat. i get mixed up on the track titles simply because all the songs sound so damn similar.

this album is a guilty pleasure of mine as well, but Cove is not even close to AG, hopefully the next album will make me think he's getting close but until then i doubt it. I also think they did target the mainstream and seeing how the whole issue with AG went down and how his writing sorta tells how he felt about saosin makes me think that.

The whole thing was good, but i didnt like the ending of your review, anthony made this band, he named it, made them what they are now, the guitars, the drums, and all.

Saosin is absolutely awful live...Alex is the only guy in the band that does things right just about...plus Cov is a major jackass
Anyway this is a pretty enjoyable album...pretty forgettable I guess but enjoyable nonetheless...Seven Years will never be topped by this band unless Anthony comes back (yeah right)

I'm kind of bi-curious for him.

As I've said before in this thread... Cove>Anthony.
Although I've been finding Anthony's plethora of side projects pretty intriguing lately. Like his solo or Sound of Animals Fighting. But nothing intrigues me enough to pursue it. This is just great pop-punk.

umm , the first and third TSOAF albums are amazing
srsly pursue them

I don't even see the argument for Cov>Anthony Cov can't even sing like that anyway its all studio crap and Anthony sings like..better live IMO...eh I respect your opinion even though its quite silly :D

To me studio performance is more important, in general. I just think Cove has a greater versatility with his voice. Anthony's either a scream or a high-pitched whine. Desirable? Yes. I love Green's voice. But Cove better represents the sound this album was going for. But no worries, I have a lot of Sputnik-clashing opinions. :-D

I saw them last week and Cov was pretty terrible...then they turned him down after the first song and we kept screaming we couldn't hear him and he told us that he didn't care and we should be singing anyway...jackass...
