I like this album, but it makes me nervous. This is a lot closer to 'pop' material than anything they've done before as far as song structure and predictability. Particularly with the recent departure of Davison, I hope they're not going in the direction of Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold.

All I know, is that when Norma Jean played live, they opened with the first track off this record and the roof nearly blew off the place when they hit that first deep note.

I know lots of people go on and on about how its so much worse/better than Bless the Martyr, but the album should really be judged uninfluenced by previous styles and vocalists. Anyway, this is a great album and probably one of my favourites. Every song is great and well written with one of the best opening tracks ever. Favourite tracks- "A Grand Scene...", " The End of all Things..." and "Amnesty Please"
