Ambient/downtempo. Very moody, cerebral, pensive type music with a nostalgic factor due to the samples. I'm sure these guys influenced Radiohead's electronic era to some extent. Don't expect to ever hear BoC in the club

I hate club music. Yeah it sounds like I might like it, though not necessarily something I’d reach for a ton. Maybe meditating, I dunno.
At any rate, seems worth a shot for sure.

Listen to Nothing Is Real, if you dig it you'll like the band. That song is the litmus test of introducing BoC to someone. The vibe, the atmosphere, the nostalgic longing, the production there's like a million tiny details in the background. I love this album but Nothing Is Real still remains my fave BoC song.
