mike has always been a pretty bad lyricist, occasionally he hits on something really meaningful but it's rare. some real cringe and stinkers throughout owen, especially related to sex lol. lp1 was pretty limited in the lyricism and it was better off for it. his style of poetry just takes over songs in a way that really detracts to me. at least it's sincere though, no doubt about that.
so that article really isn't surprising lol. seems like tim has a good head on his shoulders, everyone should check out owls. good classic emo!
