Yeah, they sound a lot like Ashenspire. Or I suppose I should say Ashenspire sounds a lot like them, since they've been around much longer. Ashenspire had a sort of more industrial sound tho, or at least what I heard. Also fairly bad lyrics iirc.



I personally didn't find them particularly bewildering or humorous, just bad. I'm sure there are some good lines on here, but most of the first couple tracks were not my cup of tea.

This wasn't really a gripe so much as an observation, since the album was framed as black metal, and to me it doesn't resemble bm at all outside of a few instances. Slight disappointment for me going into it, but not an actual criticism of the music. I just found most of the music kind of bland/unintetesting.

I can definitely understand why this isn't to everyone's taste, it's pretty out there, but i'd hardly use the word bland to describe this considering there isn't really another metal band I can think of that sounds quite like these guys (except maybe the aforementioned Ashenspire)
