I seriously think at this point that he's having some sort of mental health crisis. His posting behavior is exactly like what I've seen from friends who were struggling with serious addiction, going through nasty breakups or just manic cycles. Hopefully he has someone close who can help him sort himself out but it seems like he's pretty fond of firing managers.

Won't get much of an argument from me at least right now. Love his music but his antics are kind of ruining it for me.
And I've only listened to Highway Prayers all the way through but it kicked major ass! I should catch up on their discog before the new album comes out. Apparently their live shows are incredible too.

Actually I'm listening to Turmoil and Tinfoil now and it's incredible. Perfect blend of trad bluegrass and psychedelic jamming. Surprised nobody has reviewed any of his stuff here yet. Might have to change that with the new album if nobody else does.

Honestly all of Billy's LPs are of equal quality and have great diversity between bluegrass, country, americana, psych. Highway Prayers is my favorite though! It's an awesome journey and the songwriting is incredible
