Album Rating: 4.5
On first listen, I'm floored - this absolutely rips from start to finish.

"there is 0 chance this is better than Dusk In Us it's not even close"
Its a lot better than the dusk/bloodmoon/beautiful ruin era.
Sounds like the proper follow up to all we. Dusk felt like the entire band was on autopilot imo.

Agreed, this is an amazing first impression
Gonna listen to this 900 more times before rating, so I'll rate it in like 2 days

A Single Tear wipes the floor with all of this tbh, but this album is way more consistent.

Definitely don't agree with that although A Single Tear rips hard.

This record scratched an itch that converge hasn’t scratched for me in like 14 years

Love is not enough (song) destroys a single tear as an opener. Hard disagree.

Album is an easy 4.0

Dusk has some fucking awesome songs like t.t, Murk & Marrow, and A Single Tear, but it also has some filler. Still a fun as hell album overall

Dusk is the first converge album that feels like they’re rewriting their own songs a bit. It has some absolute heaters on it but lots of filler

Definitely some filler.

Nah I agree it’s too short

30 minutes is perfectly acceptable imo.

For this genre, 30 minutes is fine.
The over hour long worm album is killing me lol

To Feel Sonething is so good. Chef’s kiss. It and the last two are my personal highlights

This is a 🔥 album.
One point of contention tho (and this has been the case for a while tbf) is I want another track by them that’s absolutely mind blowing, like YFM and JD t.ts. Feels like it’s been a while since we’ve got a really good big build/huge release song. DiU t.t qualifies too but it’s noticeably a bit restrained by comparison. I really want a “holy fucking shit” track or moment or something. That’s it though. Album is otherwise a really fun time. Among Amok, Bad Faith, t.t, Gilded Cage, and Make Me are my current favourites.
