yeah they wound up opening with it
the venue honestly set up signs telling people that things like recording video/audio, moshing, and crowd surfing were not allowed, and people doing so risked being ejected
that lasted for about 45 seconds of Carcass' set
Testament themselves explicitly instructed people to make the biggest mosh pit they could right before they started Into the Pit, and stopped mid-song at one point later on so people could do a wall of death, it was fucking awesome
Slayer had such a huge pit that I couldn't even get a recording because I risked losing my phone if I tried to take it out

How many other thrash metal bands that spawned in the 80s can say they put out one of their best records in the late 90s? What a kickass album.

I wish they'd remix The Legacy and Souls of Black. The former is damn tinny, and the latter sounds both tinny and really cheaply recorded even though their previous two albums sounded fine.
