For The Love of Pain goes so hard. I love that song and Infanticide A.I. Witch Hunt and the title track also rule -- love whenever they launch into prolonged guitar shredding with the rhythmic percussion. Honestly, the whole album is pretty consistently great. The vocals may occasionally be a little too harsh for my personal taste, but overall this is probably the best metal album I've heard this year (out of an admittedly small sample size) and maybe in a couple years. Feeling a strong 4 at the moment, I'm really glad I listened to this.

Meant to Be is pretty great as far as thrash ballads go

Great review. I'm on my second listen now. Thank God for this drummer! He is technically great but his creativity is off the charts. It appears that he helped the entire band raise the creative bar. The first two songs belong on any Testament greatest hits collection. Para Bellum is killer too. Even some of the stuff that borders on filler still has some interesting ideas. Their two prior albums seemed stuck in a creative rut and they've fixed that here.

Trey...come on....my review is better than this. Let's be reasonable people. Why is this the way this is?

I don't have an answer for you. I would suggest not posting a review for an album that is currently in the 'featured' section. Let it drop off and you'll probably gain more traction.

I'm feeling lonely, I'm feeling helpless

I see my world now wither away

I hear a voice call, hallucinations

Through the darkness reveals the light

I'm feeling anxious, I'm feeling helpless

I see my world now wither away

I hear a voice call, hallucinations

I found comfort in his embrace!

Album rules hard. Surprise of the year

@Dillinger, no way is your review better than this one. Your comment makes you sound like the kid at school moaning that he never gets picked to read in front of the class.
