Yeah, this thing is back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back bangers, I feel like any of the songs is a legitimate contender for a favorite. The riffs on here are delicious. These guys probably have my favorite guitar work out of any band around right now.
Also the rating bar chart is very funny to me right now. So many 4s.

Yeah the opener is fantastic and I love songs that transition immediately into the next. Burn a Miracle works so much better within the context of the album too.

Reviewed their discog this week and this may be premature but after jamming a couple times last night this feels easily their best. the whole thing flows so well. singles elevated even higher in context. took swings and nailed them. couple minor lulls but sheesh what a record

If I've only heard Stereo Grief should I dive straight into this or check older stuff?

I would check out Empty Black and then jump here.

Overall a very strong album that I think will really grow on me in time. Honestly think the first half is a solid 5 and the latter a solid 4.

Funny seeing the ETID comparisons because when I first listened to these guys my thought was, "wow, they sound like what I wish ETID sounded like." I didn't like ETID much at the time and love them now so that opinion has changed a bit but yeah, these dudes sort of fill that void.

Finished my first listen, and this album is excellent. Might bump it up to a 4.5 but I'll give it a few more listens first. Every track here is good, and the vocalist just keeps getting better. Easily AOTY for me.

man this band's progression is so cool, actually incredible how poppy this thing is without compromising really anything else.

This may be my favorite of their LPs, at very least it's the most consistent. Cemetery Sun is even better in the context of the full album, easily one of my favorite tracks by them.
Cannot wait to see them headline in November, they fucking kill live but as an opener the crowds don't give them the attention they deserve.
